Raymond Bonheur was the founder of an illustrious family of French artists. He was the father of Rosa Bonheur, Auguste Bonheur, Isidore Bonheur and Juliette Bonheur.

Raymond Bonheur's paintings are rare on the Fine Art Market.

A beautiful size for this splendid oil on its original canvas, depicting boats in the bay of an Italian coast. The quality is everywhere in this painting, the boats, the luminosity on the water, the characters who give life and color to the foreground, the fishermen's hut from which escapes the smoke of a fireplace and in the background the Italian city.

This painting is an enchantment for the eyes.
