French Louis XVI Period - Rare Angle-Edge Commode in Mahogany and White Carrara Marble Circa 1770-1780

It is a rare piece of furniture with a high quality of execution that we are pleased to present you: a sumptuous angle-edge commode in mahogany and white Carrara marble. The three drawer curved front without crossbars, framed by sides forming corners with shelves in Carrara White marble and sides dressed with mirrors (changed) with gilded bronze decoration. The rounded uprights end in elegant tapered legs with gilded bronze shoes. The top of veined Carrara White marble with ears, presents serpentine sides, and a groove all around.
