Small Rosewood and marquetry semainier decorated with roses Louis XVI period circa 1780
A charming and elegant small rosewood veneer semainier with marquetry decoration of filets and roses. The top is inlaid with Rosewood veneer and decorated with a rose. It opens in front of seven small drawers. The sides are also inlaid with Rosewood veneer and decorated with a rose. The uprights are cut with simulated flutes in marquetry, ending with four sheathed feet.
Beautiful French work, certainly Parisian, from the Louis XVI period, circa 1780.
