A decorative pair of large, elegant, finely chiseled and mercury gilded mercury bronze candlesticks. Our candlesticks, resting on a tripod scrolled base decorated with palmettes and foliage on a triangular curvilinear plinth base, surmounted by a shaft decorated with Acanthus leaves and water leaves.
Fine French work from the Charles X period, circa 1825.
Our candlesticks have been mounted as lamps without piercing the bronzes and are covered with attractive blue and gold silk shades.
