Pair of Louis XVI style gilt bronze cassolettes forming candlesticks
An attractive and decorative pair of ovoid fire pot cassolettes in finely chiseled bronze, formerly mercury gilded. Our cassolettes have been transformed into candleholders, with fluted column-shaped shafts, the upper part of which turns over to form a garland-decorated spigot.
Beautiful French work in the Louis XVI style, from the French Restauration period circa 1820.
Sizes : Height 7.87 In.
In fine original condition with minor wear to the gilding.
