An elegant and decorative pair of burners or potpourris forming candlesticks in finely chiseled and gilded mercury bronze, with reversible wicks and an openwork lid, resting on a guilloche-decorated column shaft.
A fine French work from the Empire period, circa 1805-1815, that will delight collectors.

Very fine condition, with original mercury gilding. One of the lids is slightly damaged.
