Pair of Regence style three-light parakeet sconces in chiseled and gilt bronze 19th century
Nous vous présentons une paire d’appliques dite « Aux Perruches » en bronze très finement ciselé et doré, le fût orné au centre d”un perroquet ou d’une perruche aux ailes déployées d’où s’échappent trois bras de lumière.
A fine French work that is inspired by the great bronze masters of the 18th century. Based on a model by Charles Cressent (1685-1768), but French Napoleon III period, circa 1850-1870.
Dimensions : Hauteur 57 cm – Largeur 34 cm – Profondeur 16 cm.
Our pair of sconces are in excellent original condition, with beautiful gilding.
