French Louis XIV Style Chiseled Gilt-Bronze Chandelier Circa 1850-1870
An elegant and decorative chandelier, with twelve scrolled arms of light on two levels, in finely chiseled bronze in its period gilding. The shaft with a Chapiteau top, the chiseled decorative elements such as water leaves, leaves of Acanthus, shells. Our chandelier is embellished with decorative elements such as cut crystal plates from the Baccarat Crystal Works. The lower part offers a pretty pomegranate burst in chiseled bronze.
Beautiful French Louis XIV style manufactured mid-19th-century (circa 1850-1870).
Provenance : French Castel near a city of Saint-Malo-Mont Saint-Michel.
Measurements: H 39.37 In – Diameter 33.46 In.
In good original condition. The chandelier has been cleaned and it is in its original gilding. It is professionally wired for electricity.
