Inkwell in polychrome Porcelain and Parisian Varnish with gilt bronze frame, Napoleon III period
An elegant and decorative inkwell in polychrome porcelain decorated with flowers (small cracks) on a plate in Vernis Parisien in imitation of Japanese lacquer. The set rests on a superb bronze mount superbly chiseled with foliage and gilded.
Gorgeous French work of the Napoleon III period, circa 1850-1870.
