Late 18th-century French School A small Italian harbor oil on canvas circa 1800
A scene of life in a small Italian seaport, with sailors unloading a boat full of barrels and a background view of the harbor city.
This painting is naïvely inspired by Hubert Robert's work, and the talented artist of this interesting painting has created a truly decorative painting.
A slightly fancy cartridge.
Unframed sizes: Height 40.94 Inches - Length 49.21 Inches.
Size with frame: Height 46.45 Inches - Length 53.93 Inches.
In fine condition, in an original gilded wooden frame. We have decided to exhibit this painting without cleaning the varnish, which seems a little dirty.
