French Transition Louis XV-Louis XVI Period Carved Walnut Commode Circa 1770
An elegant and decorative curved "sauteuse" chest of drawers opening with two drawers in front, in molded and carved walnut with fiddle work reserves and flowers, the rounded jambs terminating in elegant moving feet. Chiseled and gilded bronze escutcheons and drawer handles. Solid walnut top with Corbin beak.
