Biography:

Georges, Philibert-Charles Maroniez (1865 - 1933). (1865 – 1933).

French painter of genre and landscapes. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français since 1889 where he was awarded numerous distinctions. 

He carried out several activities at the same time: examining magistrate, engineer, painter.

He was the pupil of Mr and Mrs Demont-Breton. 

He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he was a member of the society from 1889. He obtained an honorable mention in 1891, a third class medal in 1905, a second class medal in 1906. He was honoured with the Légion d'Honneur.
