French Transition Louis XV-Louis XVI Period Veneer Bloodwood Commode circa 1770
A gorgeous and decorative commode in a precious veneer of Bloodwood, Rosewood with Amaranth inlaid frames, opening with five drawers. It rests on lovely small serpentine legs. Gilded bronze ornamentation, including lock escutcheons, drawer pull rings, and clogs.
Beautiful toped in grey Sainte-Anne's marble with a gorge.
