A rare and elegant Louis XV-period cage chandelier in gilded bronze (still partly in its original gilding), featuring a rich and beautiful cut-crystal decoration, much of it smoky: a superb central threading, six daggers on the periphery, large plates, numerous stars and rosettes. Our chandelier ends with a large ball in blown and cut crystal.
The chandelier is illuminated by nine peripheral arms of light.

In excellent condition. The chandelier has been cleaned and retains some of its original gilding. Fitted with an electrified opaline candle system to European standards, and works with American standards with a small adapter (on request).
