These sconces are to be compared with the three-arms model kept in the Royal Palace of Pavlovsk in Russia, possibly part of the orders of Maria-Feodorovna and Paul I of Russia, during their trip to Paris as Count and Countess of the North in 1783. To be compared also with a pair preserved in the castle of Moncley (Doubs).
They propose a beautiful chiseled and gilded bronze decoration; a classic Louis XVI ribbon knot supporting a quiver with twisted flutes loaded with flowers, the shafts ending with Acanthus.
