Delft earthenware dish with Peacock design, The Claw mark circa 1730-1750
An interesting and decorative round dish in Delft earthenware, decorated in blue and white monochrome with a Peacock design, encircled by a yellow border. On the reverse, our dish is stamped with the Earthenware Claw mark, circa 1730-1750.
Beautiful 18th-century Delft faience work.
A series of four of these dishes are in the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Delft Faience, and Ceramics Department.
